Care instructions:

GENERAL

Your jewelry, like all other beautiful things in life, needs a certain amount of care. Whether you resort to professional cleaning products or rely on tried-and-tested home remedies is up to you: The more intensively you cultivate your gems, the longer you will enjoy them.
Basic rule: The more often you wear your jewelry, the more often it should be cleaned!

PROFESSIONAL CLEANING AGENTS

wipes

For light soiling, soft gold and silver wipes are the professional solution to quickly clean your favorite piece of jewelry. By gently polishing they shine again in new splendor!
Immersion baths are not allowed due to the natural nature of our products.

creams

When it comes to heavy pollution and large areas care creams are a good solution. Apply the care cream on the piece of jewelry and rub it with a damp sponge until the desired shine is achieved. Then rinse the piece of jewelry under running water and polish it thoroughly dry again. The jewelry then shines almost as new, small bumps were compensated, the surface is sealed and thus protected from dirt and moisture.

Again, please use the care creams only on metal or stones.

GOLD

Gold is a relatively insensitive precious metal that is easy to clean.

Maintain your gold jewelry by placing it in a warm water bath with a few drops of detergent every now and then and cleaning it with a soft toothbrush. Then rinse it under clean water and dab it dry with a lint-free, soft cloth.

ATTENTION: Gold should never come in contact with chlorine or strong chlorine-containing cleaning agents, otherwise it may lose its color.

SILVER

Silver tends to discoloration. It is more sensitive than gold and needs a little more frequent care to preserve the shine.

The cleaning
method for silver is identical to that for gold: dip your silver jewelry in a warm water bath with soap or detergent. Then rinse the jewelry well under running water and polish it thoroughly dry.

For more intense discoloration, it is advisable to resort to professional silver cleaning agents.

To avoid discoloration from the beginning, you should keep silver jewelry protected from light.

SMARAGD BEETLE & BUTTERFLIES

When in contact with water, e.g. Butterflies can be affected very quickly. If it is necessary to clean with water, it is recommended to clean the jewelry with lukewarm water at most on the surface. However, the material should never be soaked. The interference in the insect parts is not destroyed by a cleaning so that the nano-effect gloss persists.

ZIRCONIA

Simply clean zirconia stones on your piece of jewelry by placing it (briefly!) In lukewarm water and then rubbing it off with a soft cloth.

LEATHER

When touching with water, be aware that leather and glue can be damaged very quickly. Certain types of leather (such as crocodile) should not come into contact with water at all.

If it is necessary to clean with water, it is recommended that the leather be cleaned at least superficially with a mild lye of leather soap. In this case, however, the material should not be soaked in any way, because otherwise it can quickly become brittle.
